URBAN WALKABOUT MELBOURNE - 23 JULY 2015
One of Melbourne’s most famous designer concept stores, Le Louvre has collaborated on a pop-up store with the new children’s knitwear line by Atelier/Child.
Le Louvre always keeps an eye out for interesting new items, which includes variety of items ranging from cookbooks and beaded animals made in Africa to locally made olive oil. “Whatever it is we stock, it has to be different and interesting,” Amelia Coote, buyer at Le Louvre. When compared to other childrenwear brands out there, it was Atelier/Child’s point of difference that sparked this collaborative move.
Think lustrous cashmere blends and statement sweaters for both boys and girls aged one to seven, the kids will be rocking high quality gear in no time.
After realising a gab in the market for high quality knits for children, former Vogue editor, Georgie Abay and communications consultant Jessica Baird, joined forces and designed a collection that is both fun and timeless. See the full story here.
